Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

What is Homeschool Nexus?

Homeschool Nexus is a homeschool organization and learning platform designed to help families keep lessons, courses, grades, attendance, records, schedules, student tools, printable resources, and family organization in one place. Parents remain responsible for choosing how they homeschool and for meeting their state requirements.

Is Homeschool Nexus a complete homeschool program?

Homeschool Nexus includes courses, learning resources, recordkeeping tools, and family organization features. Families may use the parts that fit their homeschool and may continue using other curriculum or resources alongside Homeschool Nexus.

Can I add more than one child?

Yes. A parent account can manage multiple children and keep each child’s lessons, records, grades, attendance, and student access separate.

How does student access work?

Parents create and manage each student profile. Students sign in using the student access information created by the parent and then use their own student workspace.

Courses & Resources

What courses are included?

Homeschool Nexus is building a growing course library across multiple grade levels and subjects. Available courses are shown inside the Course Library.

Are answer keys visible to students?

No. Teacher and parent answer keys are intended for the parent or teacher side only and should not appear in the student workspace.

Does Homeschool Nexus have printable resources?

Yes. The Worksheets and Resources areas include printable materials that can be used alongside your family’s lessons and courses.

Can I still use my own curriculum?

Yes. Homeschool Nexus is designed to work with the teaching style, schedule, and outside curriculum your family chooses.

Records & Organization

Can I track attendance and grades?

Yes. Parents can keep attendance, instructional hours, assignments, grades, report information, and other homeschool records organized inside the app.

Can Homeschool Nexus help with high school transcripts?

Yes. The parent side includes transcript tools for recording courses, credits, grades, and other information used when creating a homeschool transcript.

What is Home Hub?

Home Hub is the parent-only family organization area. It includes tools such as lists, notes, meal planning, grocery organization, bill organization, and chore planning.

Does Homeschool Nexus tell me what my state requires?

The State Laws section provides helpful reference information and links. Homeschool laws can change, so parents should always verify current requirements with their state or another official source.

Billing & Access

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Homeschool Nexus offers a 7-day free trial so families can explore the platform before continuing with a paid subscription.

How much is Homeschool Nexus?

The current family plan is $7 per month or $77 per year after the free trial. Pricing shown inside the app or store at the time of purchase is the controlling price.

Where do I subscribe to Homeschool Nexus?

Homeschool Nexus subscriptions and billing are handled on our website at homeschoolnexus.app. If you are using the mobile app, visit homeschoolnexus.app in your web browser to subscribe. After subscribing, return to the app and refresh your subscription status or sign in again.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. Homeschool Nexus website subscriptions are managed through our website and Stripe.

Privacy & Account Management

How do I delete a student profile?

From the parent account, open the child’s profile and choose Delete child data. To confirm permanent deletion, you must type DELETE in ALL CAPS exactly as shown.

How do I request deletion of my parent account?

Go to Settings and use the account deletion option. If you cannot sign in, use the public account deletion page linked from Homeschool Nexus. Account deletion requests may require review before processing.

Can students see parent-only information?

Student and parent areas are separated. Parent-only records and controls are intended to remain on the parent side unless a feature specifically shares information with the student.
