Homeschool Nexus stores the information you and your students enter while using the app, such as student profiles, lesson plans, assignments, attendance, grades, transcripts, notes, messages, photos, documents, calendar events, and volunteer hours. We also collect your account email and sign-in details provided during registration.

We use your data to provide the homeschool management features of the app — to organize records, track progress, generate reports and transcripts, and provide the features you choose to use. We do not sell your personal information.

Your data is stored securely on our platform provider's infrastructure. Access is restricted to your account. Child profiles are protected by their own PIN and can only be accessed through the student portal with those credentials.

We share data only with the service providers that help us run the app, such as our hosting and payment providers, and only as needed to provide the service. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.

Homeschool Nexus is designed for use by homeschooling families. Student-facing features are limited to schoolwork and do not include advertising or external communications. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children's use of the app.

Before creating a student profile, the parent or authorized guardian must review the child privacy notice and confirm that they are authorized to provide consent for the child’s use of Homeschool Nexus. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising student use of the app and for deciding which features and materials are appropriate for their family.

You can request account deletion from Settings → Account within the app, or use our public account deletion page if you cannot sign in. Requests are manually reviewed before any account or homeschool data is deleted.

By creating an account or using Homeschool Nexus, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the app lawfully.

Homeschool Nexus is a homeschool organization and educational resource tool. It is not a school, teacher, legal service, or substitute for a complete curriculum unless specifically stated.

Homeschool laws vary by state and may change. Information provided through the app is for general educational purposes only and is not legal advice. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for their child's education, curriculum choices, maintaining required records, meeting attendance/testing/reporting requirements, and complying with all applicable state and local homeschool laws.

Using Homeschool Nexus does not guarantee that your homeschool complies with any state or local requirements. Verify current requirements with your state or local education authority and seek professional legal advice when necessary.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through the payment provider used for the purchase until cancelled. Website subscriptions are managed through Homeschool Nexus billing tools. If mobile in-app subscriptions are offered in the future, those subscriptions will be managed through the applicable app store.

Homeschool Nexus is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update these Terms and our Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
